Film buffs will be excited to see what November has for them to enjoy.
Naples put themselves on the international film scene years ago with the Naples International Film Festival. Each year this event grows and grows and brings to our front doors some of the finest films for your personal screening. The NIFF opens with a screening of “Last Man on the Moon” at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 5, at Artis─Naples. Screenings will continue through Sunday, November 8, at Silverspot Cinema in Mercato. Film for Film Lovers – Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs screens “Wings of Desire”(Germany, 1987) at 7 p.m. Monday, November 2. This film is about an angel who tires of seeing human activity and wishes to become human when he falls in love with a mortal. Cost is $10, located at 10150 Bonita Beach Road. Italian Film – The Italian Cultural Society screens “La Pivellina” (Italy, 2009) at 6:45 p.m. Monday, November 9, at The Norris Center. This is a captivating story of a child found and cared for by circus performers, cost is $5.
