Girls on the Run of Collier County
Overview: Girls on the Run of Collier County is an Independent Council of Girls on the Run International, which has a network of over 200 councils across the United States and Canada. It is a life-changing character development program for girls ages 8-12. Life skills are taught through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games, life skills with the culmination of the girls taking part in a 5k running event.
Gulf Coast Runners
Overview: this corporation was organized to engage in, conduct and carry out social activities and races for athletes located in Southwest Florida. They provide the youth of the community an introduction to track and field, and cross country, while promoting healthy lifelong habits, encouraging hard work and discipline, and developing sportsmanship and teamwork. Gulf Coast Runners also participates in either raising money or supporting other local not-for-profit organizations.
Road Race Place
Overview: Road Race Place provides a detailed listing of Naples 5k races, 10k races, marathons and more. There are links to race calendars, rankings, and ratings for all of the local Naples events. You can also rate your favorite (and least favorite) Naples races to help determine which races rank the highest in Naples, in the state of Florida and in the nation.
